The following are examples of blog banners I designed for Brandego clients.
Maintaining a well-written and regularly updated blog is an excellent way to establish yourself as an expert in your field. There are many free and low-cost blog hosting services out there, but I offer an inexpensive and infinitely more flexible design and hosting package.
What's included in your blog banner, design and hosting package:
Banner design
An eye-catching banner designed to complement your brand identity with your logo, tagline and supporting imagery. After learning more about you and discussing your design tastes, I'll do some research on your competition and develop two different concepts for you to review. Further tweaking takes place in revision rounds.
Blog layout and design
I provide hosting on my server and blog structure through WordPress. With WordPress, I can put my HTML and PHP coding skills to work to create a one-of-a-kind design for your blog. If you've already got a website, I can integrate your new blog into your existing website. Once your blog is up and running, you'll have complete control over your blog and can add as many widgets as you desire.
E-mail and hosting
After you've purchased your own domain name (these run about $10 a year through a service like GoDaddy.com), I'll set your blog up at either yourdomain.com or blog.yourdomain.com. In addition, you'll be provided with one free e-mail address - you@yourdomain.com, which you can check through standard e-mail applications like Outlook or Eudora, or online at your very own webmail URL (mail.yourdomain.com). Statistics tracking is also provided - you can evaluate the success of your blog to a degree by the number of hits, referrers, etc., your blog receives on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Blog design fees:
- Banner design: $300 for 3 concepts and 1 revision
- Each additional concept: $100
- Each additional revision: $75
- $150 for 2 concepts and 1 revision, includes color scheme, layout, font choices, etc.
- Hosting and e-mail at blog.yourdomain.com: $10/month (free blog hosting with website design/hosting package)
